GREATER CARLYLE ANNUAL MEETING
The 2026-2027 GREATER CARLYLE Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2027 at Poplar Junction Lanes in Highland at NOON. 


The new GREATER CARLYLE BOWLING ASSOCIATION
  As of August 1, 2018 the Greater Carlyle Bowling Association  will provide services for its men, women, and youth bowlers.   In addition to an awards program for all bowlers, the GCBA will offer numerous tournaments for all of its members.  We will offer a Scratch Tournament and an Open Handicap Tournament for all our members as well as a Senior Scratch Tournament for all of our members over the age of 50.  Our female bowlers will also have their own tournament.  Our Youth Bowlers will have  their own tournament as well. Our new Association Number is 86694

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY FOR ALL GREATER CARLYLE TOURNAMENTS:
In the case of inclement weather, bowling may be rescheduled based on a case by case scenario.  If the bowling center does not open due to inclement weather, bowling will be rescheduled.  You will be contacted if the bowling center does not open.  If the bowling center does open during inclement weather, but you feel it is not safe for you to travel, rescheduling will be permitted upon request by calling Tim Rutz.  My number is 618-654-9840 (home) 618-401-8035 (cell).

The 2027 GCBA OPEN & WOMEN'S Team Tournament will be at Mascoutah Lanes
Singles & Doubles will be at Poplar Junction Lanes

GCBA YOUTH TOURNAMENT
The 2027 GCBA Youth Tournament will be at 4th Street Lanes


GCBA SENIOR SCRATCH CLASSIC
 The 2026 GCBA Senior Scratch Classic will be at 4th Street Lanes on November 1st.


  GCBA SCRATCH CLASSIC
The 2026 GCBA Scratch Classic will be at V&H Recreation on December 13th.



GCBA WOMENS SCRATCH CLASSIC
The 2026 GCBA WOMEN'S Scratch Classic will be at V&H Recreation on December 13th.


GCBA SCHOLARHIP
Congratulations LYNN SHIRLEY from Mater Dei Catholic High School and Josh Athmer from Highland High School for winning the 2025 GCBA Scholarship.  Lynn and Josh each received a $500 scholarship.

2024 GCBA HALL OF FAME/AWARDS BANQUET
Congratulation YANCY GOODIN, BEN RICHTER, AND MARK WILKENfor being selected for induction into the Greater Carlyle Hall of Fame.  The Hall of Fame/Awards Banquet is November 7TH.  All tournament winners and honor score bowlers from the 2025-26 season will be recognized at the banquet.
